![]() It is amazing to me that 10tons Ltd makes such enjoyable and good-looking games. I did enjoy this game a lot, even when I was so bad at it. You can’t jump to a higher difficulty instant, you have to play through the game to unlock the next difficulty. The difference in the harder levels are that there will spawn a lot more and harder enemies, but you will also have unlocked better guns, permanent skills and how much damage you do to each type. The more bullets the better in my opinion, as the chance of me shooting the right way, isn’t that big, but with more bullets, the chance increases a lot ? I loved the Repeater Shotgun the most and after that the Rapid Tesla Gun. So getting all the achievements in this game is absolutely doable, how long it takes depends on your skill level in twin stick shooters.Īnother thing that I did enjoy a lot where the different weapons and skills, they were so much fun and when I was on a roll in a level, it felt so powerful. Another thing to make the game easier is that you\’ll do more damage to a specific type of enemy with the more times you have killed it. If you want to beat the game with less playtime I would suggest playing up to the point where you unlock the daily quests, then wait a few days and go back into the game, complete them and then wait a few days again. There are these daily quests, and you can have up to 6 of them. I only unlocked like 1/3 of them when I beat the game, so I could have made it even easier if I just had the patients and the right strategy from the start. I was worried before starting to play the game about having to go through all 3 difficulties for the achievements, but gladly there are permanent upgrades to help you out a lot. I’m a big fan of the recent games from 10tons Ltd (Dysmantle, Skeletal Avengers, Undead Horde), so I decided to check out one of their earlier titles Tesla Vs Lovecraft and I’m not disappointed at all! I’m not good at twin stick shooters, but I enjoy top-down shooters and the graphics for this one are colorful, which I also enjoy. Is there a good guide available: Here you find a good guide with a lot of information and tips for the game.ĭoes difficulty affect achievements: Yes, you have to play through the game on each difficulty Tesla vs Lovecraft will be available for PS4 at PlayStation Store on Mafor $14.99 USD.Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 3 (on each difficulty level) ![]() Like all good things, the Tesla-Mech only lasts for a while before exploding, scattering its pieces around the level to be collected and assembled once again. You’ll be instantly able to turn the tables on even the most massive swarm of monsters and to just shred everything in a very gratifying way. While all the weapons, powerups, and perks of the game are plenty powerful, nothing comes close to the Tesla-Mech. After collecting six pieces you can activate the Tesla-Mech for an immense boost in firepower. This juicy bit of monster slaying goodness is assembled from six pieces, one of which is always somewhere in the level waiting to be picked up. The highlight of the game, however, is the Tesla-Mech battle robot. The Quantum Teleport feature turned out great, and we’re really happy with how teleporting gives the player more opportunities to do risky stuff. After that you’ll need to survive precious seconds for the teleport charges to come back up. There’s a cooldown involved however, so you can teleport only three times in rapid succession. Better yet, it makes no difference if there’s a brick wall or a horde of monsters in the way you can blink through anything. With the Quantum Teleport backpack he, or rather you, the player, can teleport a short distance in a blink of an eye. The hero of the game, genius inventor Nikola Tesla, is not limited to just running while gunning. Tesla vs Lovecraft is an intense top-down twin stick arena shooter from the creators of Crimsonland and Neon Chrome. Structured levels are the base for the first core feature of Tesla vs Lovecraft, the Quantum Teleport. In Tesla vs Lovecraft, however, the arenas are fully architectured with obstacles, gaps, walls, and buildings. With Tesla vs Lovecraft we’re going back to our roots with Crimsonland-style all-action arena gameplay with tons of monsters. In Time Recoil we focused on time slowdown mechanics and story. We loaded Neon Chrome with RPG and roguelite elements, while its spinoff title Jydge is all about bite sized missions and customization. ![]() We’ve made quite a few, with various flavors. Some of you may know we’re no strangers to top-down twin-stick shooters. Tesla Force is an evolutionary step away from Tesla vs Lovecraft, a game which we made 3 years ago. ![]() Hi everyone! I’m Jaakko from 10tons, and I’m happy to be back on PS Blog to talk about what to expect from our latest game, twin-stick shooter Tesla vs Lovecraft. ![]()
